Case Studies
The following case studies cut across industries - from publishing to multinationals - and include companies of all sizes from FTSE 250 to entrepreneurial startups. However they all share similar stories of how Atlas was selected as a long term partner to work

The FSB decided that it was time to upgrade the FSB
website to use the latest Microsoft .Net technology and the results have been

Following the implementation of the business centre the management at the
University realised that the handling of the tenants, associated paperwork and
processes would be too complex for a paper-based system handle alone. The
University approached Atlas and requested that a solution be implemented quickly
without sacrificing the powerful functionality required. Atlas suggested that a
Windows application with the Atlas Framework as a foundation be provided as the
most cost effective and powerful method of implementing a solution.
Solo PLC required a website the likes of which had not been attempted previously;
therefore Solo could not provide Atlas with a detailed overview of how the Solo PLC
website should function. Atlas and Simon worked together to outline a brief specification,
and then made use of an agile method of software development which allowed the specification
to grow as the development was undertaken.
In order to meet Orchard’s growing customer base it was decided that a custom database would need to be created which would act as both a fully
functional CRM and portfolio management utility. Atlas were called on to design, implement and host the resulting application and now work in partnership
with Orchard reselling the application to a wider market.
Metal came to Atlas looking for someone to provide them with a new website in the form of idea13.org that they could manage themselves. The deadline
was extremely tight, Metal wanted the website as soon as physically possible. Atlas already knew the speed and ease of Wordpress and that’s why we decided
to use the Wordpress Content Management system.
